Character Controls
Movements
To move your character, simply use the W, A, S, D keys. This will move your character up, left, down and right respectively. Take note that you move faster when your character is facing the same direction of your movements. Moving sideways and/or backwards reduces your character speed so pay attention to how you move!
Aiming, Shooting and Reloading
Aiming is done by moving your mouse and following the on screen pointer. To shoot, a left click is needed. For continuous shots using automatic weapons, hold your left mouse click however your precision will decrease the longer you hold. To reload your weapon, simply press the R key.
Equipment
To switch between equipment, you can use the hotkeys 1, 2 or 3. You can also use your middle scroll wheel on your mouse to quickly switch between weapons.

Environment Interactions
Light Switch
To switch on or to switch off the lights in a room, press the E key when near the switch. A lightswitch sound will then occur.
Doors
To open a door, simply walk through it and the door will open automatically. A door sound will then occur. The door will also close automatically after you went though it. Doors are the only option for guards to move from room to room or around the map. Pay attention to moving doors as they indicate that someone might have gone there!
Windows
Windows are characterized by blue frames in the game. You can pass through any windows easily if you are a thief, but guards cannot walk through it.
Glass Windows
Glass windows are the blue windows in the game. However unlike simple windows, they need to be destroyed to pass through. Glass windows can be easily destroyed with a few shots or a single knife stab. Once a glass window is destroyed, shattering glasses will be all over that window. Also, a shattering glass sound will then occur. Pay attention to broken glasses to coordinate your pursuits and attacks!

To steal an object, press the E key when near the object. An alarm sound will then occur.
Hacking
Bomb Planting and Defusing
To plant a bomb, press the E key and hold it when near either area A or area B. You have to wait till the bar fills up for the bomb to be planted successfully. A countdown will then occur to confirm that the bomb has been planted. However be wary that moving out of the crossed area where you are trying to plant the bomb and/or shooting an enemy will interrupt the loading bar in progress. You then have to start all over again to activate it.
To defuse a bomb, press the E key and hold it when near the area where the bomb has been planted (A or B). You have to wait till the bar fills up for the bomb to be defused successfully. If you have successfully defused the bomb, counter-terrorists win! However be wary that moving out of the crossed area where the bomb is planted and/or shooting an enemy will interrupt the loading bar in progress. You then have to start all over again to defuse it.
Hiding
Hiding is one of the most important concept to embrace while playing this game. There are many ways to hide from an enemy in OGAT. Take a look around the map and discover new hiding places! Most popular choices amongst users are thick bushes, under shelters, in small houses, in dark areas and much more ingenious ways! Find yourself a hiding place and be sure not to stick out!
